Ingredient: Coriander
Coriander. Fresh leaves or crushed seeds it is used all over the world.
Crushed Coriander seeds are characterized by a strong aroma like citrus peels, not at all like the taste of the controversial coriander leaves.
They can be used crushed or whole and it is recommended to fry them in a dry pan before use to enhance their aroma.
Scientific name: Coriander or cilantro
Flavor: The seeds have a citrus-citrus taste when crushed.
They are also described as having hot, nutty, spicy and orange flavor.
Color & Texture: Greenish brown powder when crushed.
Usage: Marinades and spice rubs, fish, chicken and meat recipes, stews.
